Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 被験者の目の水晶体嚢内に埋め込むように適合された調節型眼内レンズ(IOL)デバイスであって、
屈折光学素子を備える前方部分と、
弾性後方部分と、
前記前方部分と前記後方部分との間に画成された取り囲まれているキャビティとを備え、
前記キャビティは、前記前方部分と前記後方部分とを相隔てる一定体積の流体を含むように構成され、
前記後方部分は、前記IOLデバイスが前記目の中に埋め込まれ、前記キャビティが前記流体を含むときに少なくとも前記光軸のところ及び前記光軸の周りの前記領域内の硝子体に隣接する前記水晶体嚢の後方領域と接触するように構成され、
前記後方部分は、前記硝子体によって前方力が加えられたことに反応して、前記流体が前記屈折光学素子に変形又は変位力を加えるように作動させる調節型眼内レンズ(IOL)デバイス。 - 前記屈折光学素子は、前記前方力に反応してその曲率を大きくし、前記前方力が加えられなければその曲率を小さくする請求項1に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記屈折光学素子は、前記被験者の自然の水晶体嚢の前記前方部分の曲率に実質的に等しい曲率を有することに対して弾力的に付勢される請求項2に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記IOLデバイスは、前記光軸に沿って前記無調節の自然の水晶体嚢の幅に実質的に等しい幅を有する構成形状に付勢される請求項1に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記IOLデバイスは、前記無調節状態で前記被験者の自然の水晶体嚢の赤道直径に実質的に等しい赤道直径を有する請求項1に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記前方部分は、前記被験者の目の中に前記IOLデバイスが埋め込まれたときに小帯と係合するような寸法を有する請求項1に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記前方部分に結合されたハプティック・システムをさらに備える請求項1に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記ハプティック・システムは、前記被験者の目の中に埋め込まれたときに前記光軸の経路内に前記屈折光学素子の中心を実質的に定めるように構成される請求項7に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記ハプティック・システムは、前記IOLデバイスが前記被験者の目の中に埋め込まれたときに毛様体筋の収縮及び弛緩に反応して前記光軸に沿って前記屈折光学素子を双方向に変位させるように構成される請求項8に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記キャビティ内に含まれる流体の前記体積は、前記無調節状態で前記光軸に沿って前記被験者の自然の水晶体嚢の前記幅d2に実質的に等しい前記光軸に沿った距離d3で前記前方部分と前記後方部分とを相隔てるのに十分な体積である請求項1に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 被験者の目の水晶体嚢内に埋め込むように適合された調節型眼内レンズ(IOL)デバイスであって、
前方屈折光学素子と、
前記前方光学素子に結合され、一定体積の流体を含むように構成された取り囲まれているキャビティを画成する、後面を備える膜とを備え、
前記後方部分は、前記IOLデバイスが前記目の中に埋め込まれ、前記キャビティが前記流体を含むときに少なくとも前記光軸のところ及び前記光軸の周りの領域内の硝子体に隣接する前記水晶体嚢の後方領域と接触するように構成され、
前記流体は、前記硝子体によって前記後面上に前方力が加えられたことに反応して前記前方屈折光学素子を変形させる調節型眼内レンズ(IOL)デバイス。 - 前記前方光学素子は、前記流体の前記注入を許す自己封止弁をさらに備える請求項11に記載の調節型IOL。
- 前記流体は、粘弾性を有する請求項11に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記流体は、食塩又はヒアルロン酸の水溶液である請求項11に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記流体は、前記硝子体液と実質的に同じ粘度を有する請求項11に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記流体は、前記房水又は前記硝子体液と実質的に同じ屈折率を有する請求項11に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記膜は、その周において前記前方屈折光学素子に結合される請求項11に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記前方屈折光学素子は、前記膜の取り囲まれているキャビティ内に収容される請求項11に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 前記後方部分は、強化部分をさらに備える請求項11に記載の調節型IOLデバイス。
- 被験者の目の中に調節型眼内調節レンズ(IOL)デバイスを埋め込むための方法であって、
前記被験者の目の切開部を通して前記被験者の目の前記水晶体嚢内にIOLデバイスを導入することであって、前記IOLデバイスは、内部キャビティを画成するために弾性膜に結合された屈折光学素子を備えることと、
前記屈折光学素子が実質的に光軸上の中心に来るように前記被験者の目の前記水晶体嚢内に前記IOLデバイスを位置決めすることと、
少なくとも前記光軸のところの、及び前記光軸を囲む領域内の前記硝子体に隣接する前記水晶体嚢の後方部分と前記弾性膜を接触させるのに十分な体積の流体を前記IOLデバイスの前記内部キャビティ内に注入することとを含む方法。
