Description

添加物は、効果的なSEI層を生成する量で電解質中に存在できる。いくつかの態様では、該添加物は、電解質の全重量を基準として、約0.1wt%〜約wt%の量で存在できる。
本発明の電池またはセルは、本発明の任意の負極および正極、ならびに電解質を含む。一態様では、電池の正極および負極は、リチウム等の還元されたまたは酸化された形態のイオンを”ホスティング”することができる材料を含むリチウムを使用する任意のものである。"ホストティング"とは、材料が、例えば、リチウムイオンを可逆的に包接できることを意味する。本発明の電池のための負極は、リチウム金属、((大阪ガスから入手可能である)MCMBを含む天然のまたは人工の)硬質炭素またはグラファイトを含むアモルファス炭素等の炭素質材料、スズ、スズ酸化物、ケイ素、もしくはゲルマニウム化合物または金属酸化物またはこれらの材料(例えば、リチウムチタネート)の誘導体からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の要素を含むことができる。本発明の電池での使用のための正極は、とりわけ、コバルト、ニッケル、マンガン、それらの混合物、またはリチウム複合物オキサイド等の遷移金属とのリチウム複合物オキサイドに基づくことができる、それらのリチウムサイトまたは遷移金属サイトの部分をコバルト、ニッケル、マンガン、アルミニウム、ホウ素、マグネシウム、鉄、銅、またはその同類のもの、または鉄ホスフェートおよび鉄ホスホシリケート等の鉄錯体化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の要素で置換する。正極としての使用のためのリチウム複合物の具体例は、リチウム鉄ホスフェート、LiFePO4,Li1.1[Mn1/3Ni1/3Co1/30.92,LiNi1-XCoXZおよびリチウムマンガンスピネル、LiMn24、LiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.052,LiCoO2,LiNiO2,LiNi1-X-YCoXMnY2の少なくとも1種を含む。

Claims (8)

  1. 正極、負極および電解質を含むセルであって、前記電解質が、少なくとも1種の極性有機非プロトン性溶媒と、Li 2 12 x 12-x (式中、xは少なくとも5であるが、12以下であり、そしてZは、H、Cl、またはBrを表す。)を含む少なくとも1種の塩と、リチウムキレートボレート塩を含む少なくとも1種の添加物とを含んで成り、前記添加物の量が負極上にSEI層を生成するのに充分であり、前記正極がLi 1.1 [Mn 1/3 Ni 1/3 Co 1/3 0.9 2 を含む、セル。
  2. 前記添加物が、前記電解質の全重量を基準として0.1wt%〜5wt%の量で前記電解質中に存在する、請求項1に記載のセル。
  3. 前記セルが、熱的に安定である、請求項1に記載のセル。
  4. 前記リチウムキレートボレートが、リチウムジフルオロ(オキサラト)ボレートを含む、請求項1に記載セル
  5. 前記負極が、グラファイト、アモルファス炭素、硬質炭素、スズ、ケイ素、およびリチウムチタネートの少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1に記載のセル。
  6. 前記負極が、炭素質材料を含む、請求項5に記載のセル。
  7. 前記溶媒が、エチレンカーボネートを含む、請求項1に記載セル
  8. 前記溶媒が、エチルメチルカーボネートを含む、請求項1に記載セル
