Abstract
(a)0.1〜10μmの範囲の数平均径を有する粒子、及び
(b)5nm〜0.5μmの範囲の数平均径及び80mN/m以上の20℃表面エネルギーを有する粒子、を表面に被覆することを特徴とする製造方法を提供する。
Description
(a)0.1〜10μmの範囲の数平均径を有する粒子、及び
(b)5nm〜0.5μmの範囲の数平均径及び80mN/m以上の20℃表面エネルギーを有する粒子、を表面に被覆することを特徴とする製造方法に関する。
(a)0.1〜10μmの範囲、好ましくは0.2〜5μmの範囲、更に好ましくは1μm以下の数平均径を有する粒子、及び
(b)5nm〜0.5μmの範囲、好ましくは10nm〜400nmの範囲、更に好ましくは20〜300nmの範囲の数平均径及び80mN/m以上の20℃表面エネルギーを有する粒子、を表面に被覆することによって表面を構造化する工程を含む。
アルコール、例えばエタノール、イソプロパノール、ブタノール、tert−ブタノール、3−オクタノール、1−デカノール、2−デカノール、2−ドデカノール、2−ヘキサデカノール、
ケトン、例えばアセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、ジエチルケトン、エーテル、例えばTHF、ジ−n−プロピルエーテル、ジオキサン、例えば1,4−ジオキサン。
例えば、ヒドロキシル基、アミノ基、エポキシ基又はアジリジン基と、或いは多価金属イオン、例えばCa2+、Al3+、Mg2+、Mn2+及びZn2+と反応可能なカルボキシル基、
例えば、カルボキシル基、イソシアネート、エポキシド、無水カルボン酸基、エポキシド基又はアルデヒド基と反応可能なヒドロキシル基、
アミノ基及びヒドラジンと反応可能なアルデヒド又はケト基、他のN−メチロールアミノ又はN−メチロールアミド基と反応可能なN−メチロールアミノ及びN−メチロールアミド基、例えばフェノール、tert−ブタノール、1,3−ジケトン、マレイン酸エステル、環式アミド、例えばε−カプロラクタム、ニトリル、アルデヒド又はオキシムとキャップ形成、すなわち可逆的にブロック可能であるか、或いは非キャップ形成であり、キャップ形成又は非キャップ形成した場合、例えばアミノ基及びヒドロキシル基と反応可能なイソシアネート基。
R1〜R2は、同一でも又は異なっていても良く、それぞれH、メチル、エチル、n−プロピル、イソプロピル、n−ブチル、イソブチル、sec−ブチル及びtert−ブチルから選択されるC1〜C4アルキルを表し、
nが8〜80000の範囲の整数を表し、10〜16000の範囲の整数を表すのが好ましい。
水素、
メチル、エチル、n−プロピル、イソプロピル、n−ブチル、イソブチル、sec−ブチル及びtert−ブチルから選択されるC1〜C4アルキル、
−CH2−CH2−OH、
ベンジル又はC6〜C14アリール、好ましくはフェニルを表す。
(メタ)アクリルアミド誘導体(その場合、R4は、メチル又は好ましくは水素を表す。)を含む共重合体である。天然由来の増粘剤の例は、寒天、カラギーン、加工デンプン及び変性セルロースである。使用される増粘剤の量は、例えば、本発明の方法で用いられる液体に対して、0〜10質量%の範囲であり、0.05〜5質量%の範囲が好ましく、更に好ましくは0.1〜3質量%の範囲である。
[一般的な予備試験]
表面エネルギー(表面張力に相当)を決定するための測定を、WO01/96433の19頁に記載のように行った。
1.1 水溶液の調製
1.1.1 水溶液1の調製
瓶において、以下を一緒に混合した:
601.15gの蒸留水、
200gのエタノール、
(b.1):非晶質シリカの60gの10質量%水性分散液、Beckman Coulter LS 230を用いるレーザー回折によって測定される粒径22nm(中央値、数平均);ドイツ標準規格66131に準拠するBET表面積:140m2/g、上述の非晶質シリカ及び水を混合することにより形成されるされた表面エネルギー150mN/m、
(c.1):17.14gの、1,3−ジメチロール−4,5−ジヒドロキシエチレン尿素(DMDHEU)の70質量%水溶液と、1.71gの結晶性塩化マグネシウム(MgCl2・6H2O)とからなる18.85gの自己架橋バインダー、
(d.1):ゲル透過クロマトグラフィにより測定される50000g/モルのMw、H. Fikentscherに従って水中において25℃の条件下で測定されるフィケンシャーK値30及び1質量%のポリビニルピロリドン濃度を有するポリビニルピロリドンの60gの10質量%水溶液。
表1のような量の蒸留水、エタノール、(a.1)、(b.1)、(c.1)及び(d.1)を用いて1.1.1を繰り返した。(a.1)、(b.1)、(c.1)及び(d.1)に関して報告されている量は、1.1.1に示したように、水性分散液/混合物に基づいている。結果を表1に取りまとめた。
940gの蒸留水、60gの10質量%ジ−n−オクチルスルホスクシネート水溶液を一緒に混合した。
1.2.1 ポリエステル織物の被覆
坪量220g/m2のポリエステル織物を、Mathis社のパッドマングル(HVF12085型)において、表1及び2による液体で処理した。塗布速度は1m/分であった。圧迫圧(squeeze pressure)は10バールであった。これにより、1.8〜2.7g/m2の範囲のアドオンを得た。次いで、処理されたポリエステル織物を120℃の条件下でテンターで乾燥した。最終的な熱処理を、空気循環で150℃の条件下にて3回講じた。表2にように被覆ポリエステル織物を得た。
坪量10g/m2のポリプロピレン不織布を、Mathis社のパッドマングル(HVF12085型)において、表1及び3による液体で処理した。塗布速度は1m/分であった。圧迫圧は10バールであった。これにより、0.08〜0.12g/m2の範囲のアドオンを得た。次いで、処理されたポリプロピレン不織布を80℃の条件下でテンターで乾燥して、表3のように被覆ポリプロピレン不織布を得た。
本発明により被覆された表面及び比較用の表面を、これらの性能特性に関して試験した。データを表2及び3にそれぞれ示す。
Claims (12)
- 高水準の親水性を有する構造化面の製造方法であって、
(a)0.1〜10μmの範囲の数平均径を有する粒子、及び
(b)5nm〜0.5μmの範囲の数平均径及び80mN/m以上の20℃表面エネルギーを有する粒子、
を表面に被覆することを特徴とする製造方法。 - 粒子(a)が1種以上の疎水性ポリマーを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 粒子(b)が1種以上の無機物質を含む請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- (a)0.1〜10μmの範囲の数平均径を有する粒子、及び
(b)5nm〜0.5μmの範囲の数平均径及び80mN/m以上の表面エネルギーを有する粒子、
を含む1種以上の分散液で表面を処理する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 水溶液中で行われる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1種の水溶液が少なくとも1種の乳化剤を含む請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 被覆前に、被覆すべき表面に結合層を設ける請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1種のバインダー(c)を利用する請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1種の接着促進剤(d)を利用する請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法により得られる表面。
- テキスタイルの表面である請求項10に記載の表面。
- 請求項9又は10に記載の外面を有する衣類。
