Abstract
【解決手段】固定板(10)は、中足骨に係合するよう形作られた遠位部分(12)と、指節骨に係合するよう形作られた近位部分(14)とを有する。遠位部分は、細長く、遠位部分を通る長手方向軸線に沿い、遠位部分を貫通して数本のねじが画定されている。近位部分は、長手方向軸線に平行な軸線と垂直な軸線に沿って全て互いに対してオフセットした複数のねじ穴(32,36,40,42,44)を有する。近位部分のねじ穴のうち、長手方向軸線と一致しているのは1つ(42)だけである。固定板は、MTP関節の骨をカップのようになって受けるよう形作られている。固定板は、所定の背屈角に曲げられた中間部分(16)を有するのがよい。

Description
本発明は、関節固定を行うために、関節、特に中足指節関節の2つの骨部分を互いに固定したり互いに対して整列させたりする外科用器具の一般的な技術分野に関する。
本発明は、中足指節関節の関節固定のための改良型固定板の要望を満足させる。本発明の一実施形態では、固定板は、中足骨の骨頭から遠位長さに沿って延びる全体として細長い中足骨側部分を有する。一連の面取りねじ穴が、この中足骨部分の軸線に沿って延びている。
次に、本発明の原理の理解を促進する目的で、図面に示されていて以下の明細書において説明される実施形態を参照する。言うまでもないが、それにより本発明の範囲の限定を意図しているわけではない。さらに、本発明は、図示の実施形態の変形例および改造例を含み、また、当業者にとって通常思いつく本発明の原理の別の用途を含むものである。
本発明の具体的な実施態様は、次の通りである。
(1)中足骨との指節骨との間の中足指節(MTP)関節の癒合のための固定板において、
前記中足骨に取り付け可能に形作られた細長い遠位部分であって、該遠位部分は、この遠位部分を通る長手方向軸線に沿って少なくとも1つの遠位開口部を画定し、該少なくとも1つの遠位開口部は、骨係合締結具を挿通状態で受け入れるよう形作られている、遠位部分と、
前記遠位部分に連結されていて、骨係合締結具を挿通状態で受け入れるよう形作られた複数の近位開口部を画定する近位部分であって、前記複数の開口部の中で、前記長手方向軸線と整列しているのは1つだけである、近位部分と、
を有する固定板。
(2)実施態様(1)記載の固定板において、
前記近位部分は、前記長手方向軸線から側方にオフセットした1対の互いに反対側のウイングを有し、該ウイングは各々、前記複数の近位開口部のうちの1つを有する、固定板。
(3)実施態様(2)記載の固定板において、
前記近位部分は、前記ウイング相互間に位置する中央領域を更に有し、該中央領域は、前記複数の近位開口部のうち少なくとも1つを画定している、固定板。
(4)実施態様(3)記載の固定板において、
前記中央領域は、前記複数の近位開口部のうち3つを画定する、固定板。
(5)実施態様(4)記載の固定板において、
前記近位開口部は全て、前記長手方向軸線に平行な軸線に沿って互いに対してオフセットしている、固定板。
(6)実施態様(5)記載の固定板において、
前記近位開口部は全て、前記長手方向軸線に垂直な軸線に沿って互いに対してオフセットしている、固定板。
少なくとも前記近位部分は、前記指節骨に接触する前記近位部分の表面に設けられていて、前記指節骨の表面にほぼ対応する曲率を備えている、固定板。
(8)実施態様(1)記載の固定板において、
前記固定板は、前記長手方向軸線に沿って前記MTP関節から遠ざかる曲率を備えている、固定板。
(9)実施態様(1)記載の固定板において、
前記遠位開口部および前記近位開口部のうち少なくとも幾つかは、前記MTP関節と反対側の前記固定板の表面に円周方向面取り部を有する、固定板。
(10)実施態様(1)記載の固定板において、
前記近位部分を前記遠位部分に連結する中間部分を更に有し、該中間部分は、骨係合締結具を挿通状態で受け入れる開口部を備えていない、固定板。
(11)実施態様(10)記載の固定板において、
前記固定板は、所定の背屈角をなして前記中間部分のところで曲げられている、固定板。

Claims (10)
- 中足骨との指節骨との間の中足指節(MTP)関節の癒合のための固定板において、
前記中足骨に取り付け可能に形作られた細長い遠位部分であって、該遠位部分は、この遠位部分を通る長手方向軸線に沿って少なくとも1つの遠位開口部を画定し、該少なくとも1つの遠位開口部は、骨係合締結具を挿通状態で受け入れるよう形作られている、遠位部分と、
前記遠位部分に連結されていて、骨係合締結具を挿通状態で受け入れるよう形作られた複数の近位開口部を画定する近位部分であって、前記複数の開口部の中で、前記長手方向軸線と整列しているのは1つだけである、近位部分と、
を有する固定板。 - 請求項1記載の固定板において、
前記近位部分は、前記長手方向軸線から側方にオフセットした1対の互いに反対側のウイングを有し、該ウイングは各々、前記複数の近位開口部のうちの1つを有する、固定板。 - 請求項2記載の固定板において、
前記近位部分は、前記ウイング相互間に位置する中央領域を更に有し、該中央領域は、前記複数の近位開口部のうち少なくとも1つを画定している、固定板。 - 請求項3記載の固定板において、
前記中央領域は、前記複数の近位開口部のうち3つを画定する、固定板。 - 請求項4記載の固定板において、
前記近位開口部は全て、前記長手方向軸線に平行な軸線に沿って互いに対してオフセットしている、固定板。 - 請求項5記載の固定板において、
前記近位開口部は全て、前記長手方向軸線に垂直な軸線に沿って互いに対してオフセットしている、固定板。 - 請求項1記載の固定板において、
少なくとも前記近位部分は、前記指節骨に接触する前記近位部分の表面に設けられていて、前記指節骨の表面にほぼ対応する曲率を備えている、固定板。 - 請求項1記載の固定板において、
前記固定板は、前記長手方向軸線に沿って前記MTP関節から遠ざかる曲率を備えている、固定板。 - 請求項1記載の固定板において、
前記遠位開口部および前記近位開口部のうち少なくとも幾つかは、前記MTP関節と反対側の前記固定板の表面に円周方向面取り部を有する、固定板。 - 請求項1記載の固定板において、
前記近位部分を前記遠位部分に連結する中間部分を更に有し、該中間部分は、骨係合締結具を挿通状態で受け入れる開口部を備えていない、固定板。
