Description
本発明は、骨折の整復、外反母趾矯正およびこれらに類似した外科的手技のための足の中足骨の固定に用いられる板に関する。
中足骨の整復に用いられる固定器具の要望に取り組むため、本発明は、中足骨の骨頭と骨底との間の中足骨の骨体に全体として合致するような寸法形状の固定板を提供する。この固定板は、骨底側端部よりも幅の広い骨頭側端部を有すると共に湾曲した側縁を有し、これら側縁は、2つの端部相互間で次第にテーパしている。本発明の一特徴では、側縁は、2つの端部相互間にいずれの端部よりも幅の狭いくびれ部分を生じさせるよう湾曲している。この輪郭により、固定板の全体的プロフィール(側面高さ)が減少する。
次に、本発明の原理の理解を促進する目的で、図面に示されていて以下の明細書において説明される実施形態を参照する。言うまでもないが、それにより本発明の範囲の限定を意図しているわけではない。さらに、本発明は、図示の実施形態の変形例および改造例を含み、また、当業者にとって通常思いつく本発明の原理の別の用途を含むものである。
(1) 中足骨の骨分節を整復する固定器具において、
骨頭側端部と骨底側端部を備えていて、前記骨頭側端部のところの幅が前記骨底側端部のところの幅よりも大きな細長い板を有し、
前記板は、前記骨頭側端部と前記骨底側端部との間で互いに反対側に位置する湾曲した側縁を更に有し、該側縁は、前記骨頭側端部と前記骨底側端部との間に前記板のくびれ部分を生じさせるよう湾曲しており、該くびれ部分は、前記頭底側端部の幅よりも小さな幅を有し、
前記板は、前記骨頭側端部および前記骨底側端部の各々のところに位置する1対の穴および前記骨頭側端部と前記骨底側端部との間に位置する複数個の穴を更に画定している、固定器具。
(2) 実施態様1記載の固定器具において、
前記複数個の穴は、互いに対して互い違いに配列されている、固定器具。
(3) 実施態様2記載の固定器具において、
前記複数個の穴は、前記側縁のうちの一方に隣接して位置する第1の群をなす穴と、前記側縁のうちの反対側の側縁に隣接して位置し、前記第1の穴群に対して互い違いに配列された第2の群をなす穴とを含む、固定器具。
(4) 実施態様3記載の固定器具において、
前記第1の穴群および前記第2の穴群は各々、少なくとも2つの穴を含む、固定器具。
(5)実施態様1記載の固定器具において、
前記細長い板は、前記側縁相互間で該板の長さに沿って実質的に一様に湾曲している、固定器具。
(6) 実施態様1記載の固定器具において、
前記穴のうち少なくとも幾つかは、前記穴がサイズの異なるねじを挿通して受け入れるように形作られた円周方向面取り部を含む、固定器具。
(7) 実施態様1記載の固定器具において、
前記板の厚さは、ほぼ1mm未満である、固定器具。
(8) 実施態様1記載の固定器具において、
前記側縁のうちの一方は、第1のアールで湾曲し、前記側縁のうちの反対側の側縁は、前記第1のアールよりも大きな第2のアールで湾曲している、固定器具。

Claims (7)
- 中足骨の骨分節を整復する固定器具において、
骨頭側端部と骨底側端部を備えていて、前記骨頭側端部における幅が前記骨底側端部における幅よりも大きな細長い板を有し、
前記板は、前記骨頭側端部と前記骨底側端部との間で互いに反対側に位置する湾曲した側縁を更に有し、該側縁は、前記骨頭側端部と前記骨底側端部との間に前記板のくびれ部分を生じさせるよう湾曲しており、該くびれ部分は、前記頭側端部および前記底側端部の幅よりも小さな幅を有し、
前記板は、前記骨頭側端部および前記骨底側端部の各々のところに位置する1対の穴、および前記骨頭側端部の一対の穴と前記骨底側端部の一対の穴との間に位置する複数個の穴を更に画定しており、
前記側縁のうちの一方は、第1のアールで湾曲し、前記側縁のうちの反対側の側縁は、前記第1のアールよりも大きな第2のアールで湾曲している、
固定器具。 - 請求項1記載の固定器具において、
前記複数個の穴は、互いに対して互い違いに配列されている、固定器具。 - 請求項2記載の固定器具において、
前記複数個の穴は、前記側縁のうちの一方に隣接して位置する第1の群をなす穴と、前記側縁のうちの反対側の側縁に隣接して位置し、前記第1の穴群に対して互い違いに配列された第2の群をなす穴とを含む、固定器具。 - 請求項3記載の固定器具において、
前記第1の穴群および前記第2の穴群は各々、少なくとも2つの穴を含む、固定器具。 - 請求項1記載の固定器具において、
前記細長い板は、前記側縁相互間で該板の長さに沿って実質的に一様に湾曲している、固定器具。 - 請求項1記載の固定器具において、
