Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも一つの偏芯して配置されたプラズマノズル(14)を持 つ回転ヘッド(10)を有し、前記プラズマノズルが、プラズマジェット(18 )を、回転軸に対して平行な向きに生成するようになっていることを特徴とする プラズマ表面処理装置。 2.複数の前記プラズマノズル(14)が、前記回転軸回りに略均等角 度間隔で配置してあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマ表面処理装置 。 3.前記各プラズマノズル(14)が、渦巻きプラズマジェットを生成 するための渦巻きシステム(38)を有していることを特徴とする請求項1また は2に記載のプラズマ表面処理装置。 4.前記各プラズマノズル(14)が、接地電極として機能する拡張さ れたケーシング(30)を有し、そのケーシングには、前記渦巻きシステム(3 8)を収容する拡張された渦チャネル(32)が形成してあり、ケーシングの一 端には高電圧電極(40)が形成してあり、ケーシングの他端にある口(22) に向けてテーパ状に細くなっており、前記高電圧電極(40)からの電気アーク 放電が、前記渦チャネル(32)の中心軸に沿って延びる渦芯内を通り、口(2 2)へと到達して初めて前記ケーシング(30)へと枝分かれするように、前記 渦巻きシステム(38)および渦チャネル(32)が配置してあることを特徴と する請求項3に記載のプラズマ表面処理装置。 5.前記プラズマノズル(14)には高周波電圧が供給されることを特 徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のプラズマ表面処理装置。 6.前記プラズマノズル(14)が、当該プラズマノズルの電極(30 ,40)から相互に分離された誘電体部材(36)を持ち、誘起放電として機能 す るコロナ放電の生成を許容するようになっていることを特徴とする請求項5に記 載のプラズマ表面処理装置。 7.前記プラズマノズル(14)が分配ブロック(16)に設置してあ り、前記分配ブロックが、作動ガスを供給するためのガス通路(44)と、前記 プラズマノズルへ作動電圧を供給するためのケーブル通路(46)とを持ち、前 記作動ガスが供給される圧力チャンバ(58)を通して延びるシャフト(52) の一端に対して装着してあり、前記シャフトが、コネクタハウジング(66)の 内部を通して延び、前記コネクタハウジング(66)の内部では集電極リング( 72)が前記シャフトに具備してあり、前記シャフトは、前記分配ブロック(1 6)内の対応する通路に対して連絡するための軸方向のガス通路およびケーブル 通路(60,76,80)を持つことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記 載のプラズマ表面処理装置。 8.前記シャフト(52)が、前記圧力チャンバ(58)を形成する軸 受ハウジング(54)内に軸受支持され、しかも、前記軸受ハウジング(54) における前記回転ヘッド(10)の反対側に配置される前記コネクタハウジング (66)内部に自由に突出していることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のプラズマ 表面処理装置。
