Abstract

Organdie effects are produced on cotton goods by treating in a bath containing sulphuric and phosphoric acids with a preponderance of sulphuric acid, at 20-30 DEG C. for 18-20 secs., washing and mercerizing. The material is finally stretched on a frame, washed, soured, washed and dried.
