Abstract
1369106 Shelving P HALD 2 Nov 1972 [3 Nov 1971] 50465/72 Headings A4B and A4H [Also in Division E7] A framework for supporting wares in a shop comprises uprights 1 supported on their base 4 on the floor and at their upper end in one of the apertures in the elements of a suspended ceiling which apertures correspond to the cross-section of the uprights. Horizontal elements 2 brace adjacent uprights and are supported at their ends in blocks 7 fixed to the uprights by pins. Shelves may be similarly mounted using brackets, see Figs. 5-8 (not shown). Plates 3 which form the ceiling may be in the form of upwardly open channels, see Fig. 4 (not shown) which carry electrical conduits.
