Abstract

1405143 Shelving P JACQUEMARD 5 Oct 1972 [9 Feb 1972] 45985/72 Heading A4B A shelving structure comprises two shelving units each including angle section uprights 1 provided with spaced slots 2, and shelf bearers 3, 4 each comprising an angle section bar 8 to each end of which is secured an attachment plate 6 with one or more outwardly pressed tongues 7 for engaging the slots 2, the structure further including extension plates 9 each having tongues 10, 11 for engaging slots 2 in an upright 1 supporting a bearer 3 of one shelving unit and slots 12 to receive tongues 7 of a bearer 3 of a second adjacent shelving unit whereby the transverse bearers 3 may be longitudinally aligned. Intermediate shelves 5 may be supported by angle section brackets, Fig. 4 (not shown).
