Abstract

1350943 Timepiece case SUWA SEIKOSHA K K 19 July 1971 [23 July 1970] 33785/71 Heading G3T A timepiece case has a stainless steel, gold plated annular portion integral with, or sealed to, a back which is either never plated or which has any plating thereupon removed. As shown, watch glass 16 is held by ring 17 in an unplated recess 18 of case 20, which has an integral back 21a, the annular case portion 21 only being covered with gold plating 22, which may be polished or ribbed, the back 21a being covered to prevent it being plated or any plating thereupon being removed. In another embodiment, Fig. 4, (not shown), the back of the case is formed separately from the annular case portion, and is not plated. Also disclosed is a gold plated, stainless steel winding crown, Fig. 5, (also not shown).
