Abstract
1412708 Watches DAINI SEIKOSHA K K 12 Dec 1973 [18 Dec 1972] 57538/73 Heading G3T A watertight watch case comprises a glass 12, bezel 13, tension ring 14, and case band 15 sealed together by a resilient ring 11 having a bearing surface 11a in contact with the glass, and two wall portions, the first wall portion 11b being compressed between the glass and bezel and the second wall portion 11c being compressed between the tension ring and the case band. The ring 11 is of synthetic rubber and the case band has an inclined surface 15a to prevent or minimize contact with the bezel. The tension ring may extend upwards within the ring 11 to a position adjacent the glass, Fig.2 (not shown). The case back 16 may be integral with the case band, and the ring 11 and bezel 13 may have inter-engaging shoulders, Fig.3 (not shown).
