Abstract

The false ceiling has a bearing-piece which is elongated, and U-shaped in cross-section. It may be made of metal or plastic. An elongated bridge piece (3) is horizontal and flat, its two lengthwise sides (4,5) sloping downwards and being slightly outward-splayed so that the pieces can be stacked on top of one another for storage. The bottom lengthwise edge (6) of the rectangular sides (4,5) have cut-out sections (7), the section between each cut-out indentation forming an omega-shaped hook (8). The hooks (8) on each side (4,5) face each other so that between them or on them may be fixed, underneath and crosswise to the bearing piece, elongated strips. Each strip has a lengthwise bridge-piece and two sides facing the bearing-piece, and forming a C-shape. Each of the sides can be inserted between two hooks.
