Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un polymère ou d'un copolymère d'une oléfine contenant au moins 3 atomes de carbone Selon l'invention, on polymérise ou on copolymérise au moins une oléfine contenant au moins 3 atomes de carbone ou on copolymérise l'oléfine avec jusqu'à 10 % en moles d'éthylène et/ou d'une dioléfine en présence d'un catalyseur composé de A, un composant catalytique de titane solide contenant du magnésium, et B, un compose organométallique d'un métal des groupes I à III de la Table Périodique, le composant catalytique de titane solide A étant une composition formée en mettant en contact un produit réactionnel d'un composé de magnésium organique contenant du magnésium directement lié à au moins un atome de carbone avec un composé contenant du silicium choisi dans le groupe consistant en silanols organiques contenant au moins un groupe hydroxyle directement lié au silicium et organopolysiloxanes, un ester d'acide organique et un composé de titane L'invention permet d'obtenir un polymère ou un copolymère très stéréorégulier et ayant des dimensions de particules assez importantes.
