Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Kennzeichnung von Gehäusen gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.The invention relates to a method for marking housings according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

In der Regel werden elektronische Kraftfahrzeug-Baugruppen zum Schutz vor äußeren Einflüssen in ein Gehäuse eingebaut. Zur Kennzeichnung dieser meist sicherheitsrelevanter Baugruppen wird das Gehäuse indirekt beschriftet, indem ein Typenschild angebracht wird. Dieses Typenschild beinhaltet Informationen wie z.B.: Typenbezeichnung, Seriennummer, Chargennummer, Herstellort, Herstelldatum, Bar- und Farbcodes. Dieses Typenschild ist z.B. im Falle eines Airbag-Steuergerätes 7 cm x 7 cm groß. In vielen Anwendungen besteht das Typenschild aus mehreren Lagen oder beinhaltet ein sogenanntes Abziehlevel. Hierbei handelt es sich um einen beschrifteten und entfernbaren Streifen, der ein Teil des Typenschildes darstellt, so daß dieser vor allem bei sicherheitsrelevanten Baugruppen vom Typenschild entfernt und in die Fahrzeugbegleitpapiere eingeklebt werden kann. Figur 1 zeigt ein solches Gehäuse mit Typenschild nach dem Stand der Technik. Auf einem Gehäuse 1 mit Befestigungsbohrungen 2 und einem Steckeranschluß 3 ist ein Typenschild 4 aufgeklebt. Bei dem Typenschild 4 handelt es sich um eine beschriftbare, klebbare, mehrlagige Folie. Das Typenschild 4 ist mit einer alphanumerischen Beschriftung 6 und einem Barcode 7 bedruckt. Desweiteren enthält dieses Typenschild 4 eine weitere Lage mit einem Barcode. Hierbei handelt es sich um das Abziehlevel 5 für die Fahrzeugbegleitpapiere.Electronic motor vehicle assemblies are usually installed in a housing to protect against external influences. Die Gehäusewand wird vorzugsweise mit alphanumerischen Zeichen beschriftet. Die Beschriftung wird vorzugsweise mit einem Laserbeschriftungsverfahren oder einem Kunststoffspritzverfahren eingebracht. Derart beschriftete Gehäuse eignen sich vor allem für Kraftfahrzeug-Baugruppen, deren Beschriftung unterschiedliche Anforderungen erfüllen müssen. Figur 2 zeigt ein erfindungsgemäßes Gehäuse mit integrierter Beschriftung und verkleinertem Typenschild. Das Gehäuse 1 besteht aus Kunststoff oder einem anderen formbaren Material. Es beinhaltet eine elektronische Kraftfahrzeug-Baugruppe wie beispielsweise einen Airbag-Sensor. Weiterhin weist diese Gehäuse 1 Befestigungsbohrungen 2 auf an denen die gehäuste Baugruppe am Kraftfahrzeug befestigt wird. Auch ist an diesem Gehäuse 1 eine Steckerleiste 3 angebracht über die die Elektronik angeschlossen wird. Auf dem Gehäuse 1 ist direkt eine alphanumerische Beschriftung 6 eingeformt oder aufgedruckt. Die Einformung bzw. Bedruckung der Zeichen in das Gehäuse 1 kann auf unterschiedliche Weise realisiert werden. Zum einen können derartige Markierungen 6 durch eine Laserbeschriftung erzielt werden. Dabei erwärmt ein Laser das Gehäusematerial. Durch die Erwärmung wird die Gehäusewand verformt oder verändert. An den Stellen, an denen sich das Gehäusematerial verändert, bildet sich dann die gewünschte Markierung bzw. Beschriftung 6 aus. Diese Beschriftungsart kann sowohl vor als auch nach dem Einbau der Baugruppe in das Gehäuse erfolgen. Eine andere Möglichkeit der Beschriftung besteht darin daß das Gehäuse 1 direkt durch einen Stempel beschriftet wird. Dieser Stempel kann das Gehäuse 1 an den gewünschten Stellen farbig kennzeichnen oder mechanisch oder thermisch verformen. Auch dieses Verfahren kann gleichfalls sowohl vor als auch nach dem Einbau der Baugruppe in das Gehäuse erfolgen. Das Gehäuse 1 kann weiterhin bereits bei seiner Herstellung entsprechend gekennzeichnet werden. Es kann z.B. beim Kunststoffspritzverfahren, welches bei der Herstellung des Gehäuses verwendet wird, in die Gießoder Spritzform die Typenbezeichnung, der Hersteller, der Herstellort und andere Angaben, die für alle Baugruppen in diesem Gehäuse gleich bleiben, integriert werden. Alle die genannten Beschriftungsverfahren, mit denen das Gehäuse direkt beschriftet werden kann, erhöhen die Prozeßsicherheit im Vergleich zur herkömmlichen Methode, bei der das Typenschild aufgeklebt wird. Bei diesem Anwendungsbeispiel enthält das separate Typenschild 4 nur noch die Barcodekennzeichnung 7 mit dem Abziehlevel 5 für die Fahrzeugbegleitpapiere. Die für einen Scanner lesbare Barcodekennzeichnung 7 muß weiterhin auf einem Typenschild angebracht sein, da einerseits die Realisierung der Lesbarkeit eines Barcodes, welcher sich direkt auf dem Gehäuse 1 befindet, sehr aufwendig ist und andererseits ein Abziehlevel für die Begleitpapiere benötigt wird. Alle andere Beschriftungen 6 werden nach einem der oben genannten Verfahren direkt auf das Gehäuse angebracht. Dadurch erzielt man, daß bei der Fertigung der Baugruppe nur noch ein aufklebbares Typenschild von minmaler Größe für das Abziehlevel verarbeitet werden muß, welches für die Kraftfahrzeugbegleitpapiere benötigt wird.
