Abstract

"PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO, ESPECIALMENTE A FRIO, DE UM REVESTIMENTO E REVESTIMENTO OBTIDO PELA IMPLEMENTAçãO DESTE PROCESSO". A invenção abrange um processo de fabricação de um material rodoviário granular revestido, no qual: empregam-se, ao menos, duas frações granulares distintas - uma fração granular grosseira, formada de grãos grosseiros e/ou médios, e uma fração granular fina, constituída de grãos finos -; revestem-se os granulados da fração granular grosseira com um ligante orgânico, de modo a formar uma fase grosseira orgânica; misturam-se os granulados da fração granular fina com um ligante mineral e com uma quantidade de água de aporte, de maneira a formar uma fase mineral fina; misturam-se a fase grosseira orgânica e fase mineral fina, visando obter um material pronto para ser aplicado e estocado. O ligante orgânico é, vantajosamente, uma emulsão de um betume macio, caso em que o revestimento da fração granular grosseira se realiza a frio e a mistura final da duas fases é executada, de preferência, após a ruptura da emulsão.
