Abstract

En varmevekslerkjerne som inkorporerer diffusjonssammenføyde plater og varmevekslere som inkorporerer en slik kjerne er vist. Varmevekslerkjernen omfatter første og andre grupper av interfolierte plater som er arrangert for henholdvis å bære første og andre varmevekslerfluider, og hver av platene i hver gruppe er dannet i én av dets flater med tretti eller flere småplater, av hvilke hver er satt sammen av en gruppe parallelle kanaler. Åpninger strekker seg gjennom den første og andre gruppen av plater for å føre det første og andre varmevekslerfluidet til og fra småplatene, og fordelingskanaler forbinder motsatte ender av hver småplate i hver av platene til tilknyttede/ledsagende åpninger. Fordelingskanalene som er tilknyttet hver av småplatene i platene av den første gruppen er oppstilt i et kryssende forhold med fordelingskanalene som er tilknyttet de respektive småplatene i platene av den andre gruppen hvormed hver av småplatene i platene av den første gruppen er lokalisert i varmeveksler sidestilling med henholdvis én av småplatene i platene av den andre gruppen.
