Abstract
Un proceso para eliminar el dióxido de azufre de la corriente de gas fuente, que incluye (i) el contacto de la corriente de gas fuente con un medio de absorción magro acuoso que incluye un disolvente químico que incluye un absorbente regenerable, un disolvente físico, y una o más sales estables con calor. El absorbente regenerable es una amina. El cociente de %p del disolvente físico respecto del absorbente regenerable es 0,5 a 2,5. El cociente de %p del disolvente físico respecto del absorbente regenerable es 0,29 a 0,37. El pH del medio de absorción magro es 6 o menos. Con el proceso es posible eliminar selectivamente SO2. Cuando se elimina el medio de absorción, se necesita menos energía en relación con los proceso conocido.
