Case summary

The player, originally from Portugal and residing in Canada, had deposited 4.6 BTC into a non-KYC website and later attempted to withdraw 5.21 BTC. Due to initially using filler information, the player could not pass the KYC verification and was informed that they had breached the terms, resulting in only 2.14 BTC being returned instead of the full 4.6 BTC deposit. The player sought an amicable resolution. We determined that the casino had the right to close the account and confiscate winnings due to the breach of terms involving fake registration details, and thus, the complaint was rejected.

05/27/24 - Website was advertised as non-KYC upon sign-up, so I used filler information, as I felt uncomfortable writing information from the get-go

Between 05/27/24 and 05/31/24 I deposited a total of approximately 4.6 BTC on this website, and was treated with the utmost care of the staff, as I was losing a lot of funds.

On 05/31/24, I won 5.21 BTC and decided it was time to cash-out. I realized I would need to KYC, and reached out to staff. I was prepared to provide all necessary documentation, however the filler information I put on 05/27/24 would not match. I reached out to the team multiple times to get this rectified prior to providing any documentation, and was told to submit my documents anyway.

on 06/04/24, I was told I was in gross breach of terms due to the names I used, and they would be refusing to honour my balance. Instead of voiding all play and offering me back by 4.6 BTC, they decided that an amount of 2.14 BTC would suffice for some reason.

I am writing to have this resolved amicably, as I tried to rectify this information with them prior to providing my KYC, and did not abuse any bonuses or games.

Note: For some reason this dispute will not let me change my country. I live in Canada

Hello BTCSquared,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint and I'm really sorry to hear about your issue with Wild.io Casino. Please allow me to ask you a few more question before we would move forward.

Could you please advise what information did you enter into the registration form and what information are correct? Is your account currently closed or open? This was your first ever withdrawal attempt?

Please note that once you give incorrect details to the casino, they can block you and confiscate any balance without even having to refund anything. If they offered a refund after all, I would definitely accept it.

Looking forward to your answer.

Regards,

Nick

Hi Nick,

In a drunken state, I signed up for a website that clearly advertised as "no KYC" will filler information, under the name "James Jamieson". During my time playing at this casino, I attempted numerous times to reach out to the casino to have the info changed prior to submitting my documents.

My account is still open currently, with an "altered" balance from the casino, of less than 50% of the amount I deposited. This is my first withdrawal attempt.

I did not provide incorrect/fraudulent KYC information as claimed by them, as I provided my passport, selfie, and liveness test with a note. I offered to do Skype KYC, and whatever necessary.

The website took this as an opportunity to make a quick quarter million dollars and stole the funds.

Dear BTCSquared,

Unfortunately, the casino is not "no KYC" at all. There is a whole article in their casino terms (which you agreed to with your registration).file

You gave fake details during the registration no matter what was your state at current time. By breaching the terms, the casino has every right to close your account and confiscate any winnings generated and nobody can do anything against it.

We will be now forced to reject the complaint.

Please be sure to always register with your own personal details otherwise the situation will occur again.

Best regards,

Nick
