Lester Jackson (Democratic Party) was a member of the Georgia State Senate, representing District 2. He assumed office on January 12, 2009. He left office on January 9, 2023.
Jackson (Democratic Party) ran for election for Georgia Commissioner of Labor. He lost in the Democratic primary on May 24, 2022.
Jackson served in the Georgia State House of Representatives from 1998 to 2008.

On November 4, 2008, Jackson was elected to the Georgia State Senate from Georgia's 2nd Senate District. Jackson ran unopposed in the general election, and he received 46,527 votes.[12] Jackson raised $47,992 for his campaign.[13]
