Hey, everyone.
So, my inspiration and direction for this story hasn’t really been here lately. Regretfully, I have decided to take a small hiatus from this fanfic.
I am by no means discontinuing it! This book is meant to be a challenge for me, and it’s my own little love letter towards the franchise that I have loved for many, many years. There are just a lot of blocks I have yet to put in place on what exactly I wanted this to be other than it being a passion project and how I interpreted this franchise to go post-Dominion. (And, if I might add, as much as I loved Dominion, I do prefer a more dinosaur based story rather than one about locusts ;) ).
I definitely bit off more than I can chew in terms of the amount of projects I’m currently doing and the overall scope of this story. The hiatus may be nothing more than a month or two; who knows.
If you’re a fan of the franchise, I will be working on my other smaller Jurassic World centered story, as well as some prehistoric one-shots here and there to hopefully tide things over until I get this story back on its feet.
Again, I’m really sorry for putting this fic on hold for the time being, as I’ve gotten some kind comments on it both here and on Quotev. It really means a lot to me as a novice writer. I just really want to make this a story that my audience and fans of the franchise could enjoy, as well as being something I can look back on and be proud of. Rather than continue to rush into things with no real sense of direction, I want to stop and do it right.
