Heartbroken, Tony tried to track Bucky down, to no avail, only to encounter him five years later as a gladiator in the very same city to which Howard has just been appointed Governor.

Summary
Dream was recently married via proxy as part of a business agreement between the Endless corporation (which controls most of the Milky Way) and the Nine Muses conglomerate (which dominates Andromeda). Savvy business move though it was, he is uncertain about his feelings for his new bride, especially when compared to the connection he'd forged with his final fling, before the details of the merger had been finalized. Still, Dream is one of the Endless, and he knows his duty. He is on his way to Cassiopeia to meet his wife in person when his ship is hailed by a pirate vessel. And not just any pirate ship, but the notorious White Horse.
There is a very real possibility that Dream will not survive the encounter.

Bucky took a deep breath. Let it out slow. “Are you lost, sweet thing?”
Nod nod nod. Tony’s eyes filled with tears. “Y-yes.”
“Tell me what you need.”
“Home.” The submissive whispered the word nearly inaudible. “I need to be. Home.”
“Ask me.” Bucky clenched his fists, flexed his fingers anxious to get to his submissive. “Ask me.”
“Please.” Tony’s eyes closed again and he begged his Dom, “Bring me home?”

Summary
After that final, awful kiss, after Aziraphale conquers his last moment of hesitation, the rift between angel and demon seems bottomless. They spent centuries talking past each other and kept it up right to the last minute. They won't find their way back to one another in one glib resolution.
But we know it's not over. With Heaven and Earth dividing them, there's time to consider all the unsaid things.
And there's still an angel in the bookshop.
