“What?”
“You have that look in your eyes.” Alex says while dragging his hand down the arse of Henry’s boxers.
Henry arches into it. “What look," he tilts his head innocently. Any other time, he’d ask to be fucked. Usually he wants to be filled and pressed into the mattress, but if he’s being honest, he doesn’t want that right now. What he does want is to bring Alex apart with his hands.
"The look that says 'I plan on keeping Alex up all night'.”
Henry laughs, low, and kisses him softer this time. “You can always tell me to stop.”
“Literally why would I ever do that.”
Whatever stern look he gives makes Alex sigh. “Sorry, yes. I know I can safe word out.”

Tyler looks up at him then, it’s cold out here, but their proximity to the fire has sweat dripping down Josh’s face. His beanie is off, and his curls are now so long they’re curling above his eyes. Years ago, if Josh’s hair was this length, Tyler would've done something like brush it out of his face. Even with the mix of emotions he’s feeling right now, he fights the urge.
“I’m not sorry for what I did to get you here. I mean– okay, I am sorry for that, because I know it hurt you, or it’s hurting you right now. But it was necessary. But what I am sorry for is not protecting you like I should've.”

Henry, after being with Alex for quite some time, recognizes this look on Alex’s face in two different settings. In law– and in bed.
This type of smug satisfaction he gets that spreads over his features. He’ll rant about a legal case to Henry, and of course, Henry listens– lets Alex rant about nobility and human rights. He doesn’t quite understand how such vastly different things spark the same amount of passion and gratification in him. Though, Alex tackles everything in life with such extreme intensity. Sex is no different.

“Well.” Eddie hums. “I want to talk to you.”
Buck hides his smile against his shoulder, rolling his head to look up at the sky. The stars are a bit more visible tonight. He has to squint, and he’s not entirely sure what he’s looking at, but it’s nice—knowing that he and Eddie are looking up at the same sky. He can almost pretend they’re here together, sitting side by side in the camp chairs, miles of space, but still needing to press their knees into each other.
“I want to talk to you too.” Buck replies, equally as softly.
Eddie leaves for Texas. Buck sees him everywhere.
