With the waves crashing behind me, I hear someone’s familiar footsteps. I hear them say, “I’ve missed you.” Dio mio, I know that voice. My eyes water, but I try to talk myself out of it. This is just a dream. He’s not here. He died. He’s gone. This is my mind playing tricks on me. Right?
“I’m here, sorella.” I can feel him getting closer. I turn around slowly, hoping this isn’t a trick. Once I saw his hair and smile, I closed the few feet between us and hugged him while crying into his shoulder.

wanda returns from a mission with bruises and cuts along her arms and thighs, and she asks you to stitch them up.

I notice she doesn’t get up to greet me. She just sits in her bed stiffly as if moving would kill her. That’s when I notice the blood from the cuts on her arms and thighs. I bolt towards the side of her bed, my eyes blurry and my voice shaky. “Wh- what happened?”
She looks at me with a fake smile on her face, as if she’s trying to conceal her pain.“Ah, it’s nothing. Just a few cuts and scrapes from the mission. I didn’t feel comfortable with someone else stitching them, so I asked Natasha to carry me in here. Could you do them, please?”
