Summary
When you receive an offer to move to the newly-established monster city-state, it's an easy decision, especially in the wake of your divorce. You need a fresh start. You need to meet new people. You don't expect to meet quite so many skeletons in particular, but a new friend is a new friend regardless of how much flesh they have.
And you're no influencer, but it seems obvious that you would post about your journey online, right?
But life in Mt. Ebott City is a lot more confusing than you expected when there are such clear divisional lines among monsters themselves. Sometimes it seems like even monsters of the same species are from entirely different universes...

Subway Boss Ingo went missing for less than 24 hours, and yet anyone would swear he changed into a different person overnight.
You can tell he feels like doesn't belong here anymore. But that's alright. You can relate.

Summary
When you decide to pursue your childhood dream of running an arcade, the developing monster city at the top of Mount Ebott seems like an obvious choice to set up shop. The community is growing quickly, you'd have very little competition, and commercial renting space is dirt cheap.
The only problem is you've never run a business by yourself before, and you're not very good with numbers. When you find a monster accountant advertising his services online, you jump at the chance to work with him.
The skeleton seems formal, professional, and detached, which is just fine by you. Who needs the distractions of friendships and relationships when you've got a business to run?

Inspired by the prompt 'What if your favorite character rang your doorbell and wanted to change your story.'
"Listen, bud. This may not make much sense to you, but you're going to die if you don't leave with me right now. Please, don't make me watch you die again," Says Sans The Skeleton. Outside your apartment door.
"I- How are you even here? You're a video game character- What."
"Kid, we have GOT to go. I'll explain after. Grab your cat."

Summary
You’re six months into your career as an electrician and for the first time in your life, you’ve got your shit together. Go you!
When the job brings you to a mansion inhabited by skeleton monsters and your ex-girlfriend, things change. The wiring in the house is fried, the skeletons are suspiciously evasive about the basement, and your ex keeps inviting you for sleepovers.
You just want to get through the repairs without setting the place on fire. Keeping your sanity intact would be a nice bonus.
Or, another anti-harem fic, but in this one, the girlfriend is into you too.

Summary
You always told him, “stop messing with that machine, Sans.” You swore you told him that on an almost weekly basis, yet – despite your words of warning – he never once listened to you. That’s why you’re now stuck in your current situation: being held by a skeleton you’ve never met before, but seems oh-so-familiar, with a sharpened bone attack raised to your jugular. You spoke, voice laced with annoyance and frustration as you stared at Sans who was across the room, sweat dripping down his skull, “I told you to stop fucking with that machine.”
I am currently re-writing every chapter to add extra scenes, flesh out characters/relationships, and make the world the Reader and the skeletons live in feel more believable. As of [01/03/24], chapters 1-7 are the only chapters that have been updated, so I apologize if there is a drop-off in quality from chapter 8 onwards.

Summary
After an incident at the world-famous Ebott Aquarium, you find yourself placed on a team of staff dedicated to the care of the prize exhibits at the facility; three notoriously aggressive skeleton siren monsters captured in the name of 'research'. An orca with a disturbing record of finding new ways to attempt to drown his keepers, a shark who's excellent at removing whatever stray hands come his way, and a deep-sea octopus whose past (and body count) are hidden behind endless stacks of legal papers. Despite their pattern of brutally murdering their ever-changing team of keepers, they all seem to immediately take a shine to you- a worryingly bright shine. A shine that won't go away, a shine that starts to unnerve you.
However, the longer you work there, the more you see the inner workings of Ebott Aquarium. The more you realise the sirens you're 'caring for' aren't dumb beasts, they're deeply intelligent... they aren't mindlessly aggressive, they've gone insane, locked in those tiny glass cages.
... The more you interact with the sirens... the more you realise their murderous aggression might not be all that misplaced.
