Three years after Izzy Hands alpha attacks him and turns feral Izzy is still terrified to leave his apartment and live alone. Terrified of alphas but even more scared of being alone he goes with one of his closest friends to the Revenge alpha facility.
And is introduces to Stede.
A seemingly small decision which gives Izzy the bravery he needs to not only live his life, but face his old alpha once again.

“I didn’t think we ended that interaction especially well,” Stede confessed quietly. “On my part as much as on yours.”
Izzy felt himself raise an eyebrow. A bold statement to make when Stede knew he was as pissed off as he was, really, with the whole thing. Didn’t mean it wasn’t true…
Instead of biting back, not really having the energy to now the adrenaline had worn off and he was thinking about trying to catch a couple of hours of sleep before dawn, Izzy turned back to the mirror and continued to roughly swipe at his skin. He heard Stede shuffle in the doorway, like he was having to physically hold himself back from stepping inside. Maybe he was.
“Izzy, will you please be more gentle with yourself?” Izzy felt like a child being scolded, so much so he winced, and it made his movements falter, glancing to his side to see that Stede had one foot inside his cabin. “Why won’t you let me help?”
After a raid, Izzy needs some convincing to let people close, let himself be looked after. Maybe Stede has that key...
