Summary
Hermione, after finishing her last year at Hogwarts, is asked to join the Department of Mysteries to recoup their lost time-turners that were casualties in the war. Hermione jumped at the opportunity to learn how they create time-turners and agreed immediately. But when the time-turner she is testing 'malfunctions', it tosses her through time before breaking, stranding her in the past. Now she has to get home with no idea what happened to get her sent back in the first place.

Alice’s eyes widened. ‘Rio….’
Rio let her head fall onto Alice’s shoulder with a groan, burying her face in her red hair and mumbling into her ear.
‘My loser lesbian rating just went up five points.’
Alice took hold of her elbows and steered her into their living room, guiding her down gently into a sitting position before flopping down herself.
‘So,’ she deadpanned. ‘The mom’s hot.’
Rio flushed again, hand snapping out to thwack Alice’s elbow. Was she really that obvious? That much of a fucking cliché?
She groaned, peeking out at her friend from between her fingers.
‘Well yes. But, worse.’ she replied, drawing out the sound of the ‘s’. Alice stared expectantly.
‘Alice, she’s beautiful.’
‘Oh jeez,’ Alice said, eyes bright with sympathy. ‘Yeah, that is worse.’
OR
Rio gets hired as Nicky's nanny. And falls completely in love with his mom.

Rio furrowed her eyebrows and looked at the monitor showing her own image, a groan the moment she noticed what they were all seeing, her head already slightly pounding.
“Chat, relax,” she zoomed in the camera on her face only for it to zoom out seemingly by itself. “That’s just the ghost that lives in my house, she’s an annoying bitch but all in all, harmless.”
She barely ended the sentence when the shelf that held her heaviest D&D books fell just narrowly missing her head.
