Summary

There, lying in the gutter, wrapped in a dirty, pale yellow blanket, and half submerged in rain water, was a crying infant. It hiccuped unevenly, the sound wet and broken, its puffy cheeks tinted blue in the gray morning light.
Where are your Saints, now, Inej? he thought, bitterly, sneering down at the blue-faced infant.
They sent you.
OR: Kaz finds a baby in the gutter, and with Inej's voice in his head, doesn't leave it to die.
