There was a tiny cottage on the very outskirts of hell, where Lucifer often went to spend a little time in its calm, in its modest little walls, muffling the torn-voiced hollering perpetually piercing the air of hell. If they felt like it, they’d bring a damned soul as company and indulge in the pleasure their body gave. Or do nothing and bask in the simplicity of doing nothing.
But most often, they went there to sleep.
And to dream.
One day, a very special Someone decided to pay them some company.
And by doing so, made a grave mistake.

Summary
Giddy, the Morningstar indulged in the memory of their sweet Morpheus, his eyes blankly horrified with desperation when they had become anti-life and took away his sense, his will, from him. His mind eerily quiet when understanding dawned that he was ultimately suffering for nothing. After all, there was nothing left for him to fight for.
When he had lost reason, the concept of duty he hid behind so pettily, was when he had completely given up. Lucifer still marvelled at the sight of him demurely laying his head on the marble floor and sliding his eyes shut, yielding to the victor and baring his throat willingly to the dire wolf.
