Summary
It’s been a little over two years since Maedhros got out of an abusive relationship. Sure, he’s still got some lingering trauma and some unresolved issues with his dad, but at least now he has support from his family, his therapist, an actual circle of queer friends, and an amazing boyfriend. Really, he can’t believe how lucky he is to have found Fingon. All that he has to is make it through a family wedding, survive his comprehensive exams, and deal with the sudden return of his sex drive and all the kinks that he thought he’d left behind. But with Fingon at his side, he’s sure that he can manage all of that.
And Fingon? Well, he’s never backed down from a challenge before, and he survived coming out to himself and Maedhros after spending twenty-three years convinced that he was straight. He’s sure that he can handle coming out to almost everyone he knows as long as it means that he gets to love Maedhros publicly and proudly. Really, with Maedhros’ support and guidance, he can’t imagine anything going wrong.
Title comes from Maggie Rogers’ song “Anywhere With You.”

Time has pased since the crisis at Nargothrond and the High King and his husband had relaxed now that it appears that the future had changed enough to avoid the Fall of Gondolin... unfortunately things are never as it seemed. After an attack on Maedhros himself as he moved to Himring, they became aware of a new player on the board. Or not so new? Old enemies resurfaced as they fight agains the clock to avoid more than one catastrophe they remember full well from the past.

There is no bitterness or deception in Maedhros' manner, and at that Maglor wonders. There has been no other between them since their exile; it was, until mere hours ago, unthinkable to Maglor that he could ever again desire another.
Maglor falls in love. Maedhros lets him.

The Valar decide that one returned First Age Elf isn't enough and send another one, just in time to aid the Fellowship on their quest.
Each chapter will feature a different Elf from the Silmarillion coming back to Middle-Earth just in time for the War of the Ring. I'll try to make each interaction as unique as possible. All of these chapters are in effect stand-alone stories put together for the sake of convenience.

After the fall of Doriath, the young princes Eluréd and Elurín, sons of Dior and grandchildren of Beren and Lúthien, are captured during the ruthless attack of the sons of Fëanor, who seek to reclaim the Silmaril. As their kingdom is destroyed and their parents are killed, the two brothers are separated from their younger sister, Elwing, who manages to escape. However, Eluréd and Elurín are taken by Celegorm’s servants, abandoned in the dark vastness of the Neldoreth forest, destined to die alone.
This is my version of the sad story of Eluréd and Elurín.
