    A lot of witches and wizards lost their families in the war, so it was no different for Draco. Some might say that having your father banished to Azkaban was good riddance. Others could say being stripped of your family title and home, rendering you homeless, was instant karma. Yet, the least Draco expected was to be with his mother. And when she was gone, he had nowhere else to go, before Remus Lupin and Sirius Black opened their home to him so he could complete his final year at Hogwarts.

    ( in conclusion , i suck at summaries but it's gonna be angsty with remus being an overprotective dad to draco as such :) )
