Summary
Harry Potter almost dies during his Creature Inheritance due to a block placed by Dumbledore. He is saved and brought to Diagon Alley only to find a sixteen-year-old Tom Riddle who also had his Creature Inheritance blocked by Dumbledore. Developing a bond by circumstance, the boys must explore their new existence and discover why it is that Dumbledore blocked their magic. Summary
An ultra slow burn Drarry that begins with a Fifth-Year retelling and continues through the final battle at Hogwarts.
Harry begins to distrust Dumbledore after the events of his fourth year, turning to an unlikely source for knowledge and information. The Occupation of Malfoy Manor by Voldemort leads Draco down a path that diverges significantly from the rest of his family. Harry being made a Prefect sets in motion a large rift in the Golden Trio, ultimately resulting in irreparable damage. Harry learns what real friendship is and who he can trust while making several self-discoveries along his path to rid the Wizarding World of Voldemort for good.
There are several plot points from the original source material that remain unchanged and are therefore only referenced and implied. While I don't care for the author's personal views, I enjoy her writing and will not be re-writing anything that happens as they appeared in the books. This fic is long enough as it is! There will be author notes for any chapter that includes or alludes to these scenes.
Please make note of the canonical character death tag and remember what happens in Order of the Phoenix.

Instead of going right, Sirius Black followed the feeling of wards that screamed of family and home, going left. Wards he was positive felt exactly like the ones protecting Potter Manor, the only real home he’d ever had. Which couldn’t be right, he was in the middle of Merlin-forsaken nowhere with the hot sun beating down upon him. His simple act unrolled a whole new destiny, and this one…perhaps would be far happier than the one awaited him if he’d gone right. For this simple act would awaken King Arthur, Merlin and the knights of the round table that were always said in legend that they'd appear when Albions need was at it's greatest...and how greater could the need be when such rife corruption went all the way up the ladder to the Minister of magic himself?
