He didn’t come here to fall in love with some idiotic man who refuses to stop genuinely caring about him, and he definitely didn’t come here to join a stupid debate club.

Summary
Miles Edgeworth, prince of Adorros Kingdom and heir to the throne, is antisocial and isolated from the world. Miles was content with only having one friend, which was enough for him already. So, he stayed friendless, hardly connecting with anyone at all. However, that all changes when his father hires an elven bodyguard.
What starts as an awkward yet endearing friendship blossoms into…something more, and for some odd reason, Miles isn’t upset about it.

He could always see them, even as a child, though the first he’d truly seen was his mother. Before her, they were only wisps of light or shifting shadows, vague suggestions of something else in the room that only Phoenix could see, and couldn’t understand. The lights would flicker, the temperature would drop to freezing, or he’d feel something at his back that wasn’t quite the wind. He didn’t talk about it much, since no one else seemed to notice. The one time he had brought it up, his father chalked it up to the age of their house and the unreliability of the electricity.
Phoenix, as a child, could almost believe that theory if lights didn’t flicker in places that weren’t his house, or if he didn't walk through cold spots on hot summer days.--
Phoenix is an artist, struggling to heal after the death of a close friend. When his best friend, Maya, brings him to a quiet house in the countryside to spark some inspiration, he finds the house isn't as quiet as it seems, and a ghost of his past may be walking the halls.
