It's why some people don't like him - he can talk in circles around you, pick apart the things you're insecure about. Wade climbs on the edge of the bed and lies down on his side, leaving a perfectly decent amount of space between the two of them. He watches Logan, his face unusually relaxed, the lines that radiate from the corners of his eyes, the facial hair he’s been letting grow into a fuller beard lately, the dark bruise blooming on his cheekbone, the patched up wound on his temple. He thinks back to the terrifying moment when he stormed into the warehouse and saw him seemingly lifeless in a pool of blood.
God, he loves him.
He buries his face into the bed sheets, and the bed sheets smell like heaven - they smell of Logan.

Logan gets kidnapped and tortured, temporarily having lost his healing factor. Lucky he’s got Wade to rely on, now.

Scott didn’t like the way the new Wolverine was looking at him.
It was a look of disbelief, first and foremost. What with the way he was clutching Wade Wilson’s hand, it could have even been apprehension. But there was a small touch of something else in his eyes. What it was, Scott couldn’t tell.
Logan had always had these big, elaborate emotions. He laughed loud and screamed louder. But every so often he’d act a certain way that Scott just couldn’t figure out.
Or, Scott can't figure out the new Logan, and he doesn't like it.
