You watch as the two brothers face each other.
You know them. You do. One is named Carlo. Former specter. Former human. Now something else entirely.
The other is Pinocchio. Former puppet. He grew to be something else. And now he has, once more, changed. But not for the better.
On Elysium Boulevard, on that damned bridge, they face each other.
Carlo's face contorted in anguish, calling out for his brother to come back.
P’s face split in a rictus you do not recognize, except that it looks out of place on the normally kind and naïve puppet.
How did we get there, you ask?
How could such a thing ever happen?

So, I’m obsessed with Lies of P.
Specifically, with the Specter!Carlo AU created on tumblr by @ash-arts-a-thing !!
Please look it up, it’s absolutely amazing and has overtaken my brain.
The idea goes as follow: on a NG+, what if instead of Specter you were able to summon Carlo ? With all the snarks ?
This would change the story completely, and @ash-arts-a-thing has a whole series describing how the AU would work, how the characters would interact etc.
It's abolutely amazing !!I'll compile every OS/snippets/etc I've written for this AU in this series!

Javi doesn’t wake up feeling like the world is going to end, or change, or crumble beneath his feet. He doesn’t have a pit in his stomach, something burning in his bones telling him to runrunrun. He wakes up to the sound of a thunk and somebody cursing. This was why he hated motels, their paper-thin walls.
(Or, Two Wranglers get into an accident, Javi saves them and is sharply reminded of his past. In the aftermath, under the bright hospital lights, he and Tyler talk.)

Summary
When he was young, Javi would pray when the storms came. The words, learned from his mother’s hunched back, her fingers pressed against the wood of her rosary, would pour from his lips like the rain above them - Ave Maria, gratia plena. Dominus tecum.
Thunder would crack high above them, his family, his mother and sister and him, pressed into the small bathroom in their house, the only windowless room there. The bang would rattle the thin walls, his mother’s pride and joy, her stained glass windows creaking. His sister cried, soft and tired, and Javi would start his prayer again.
(Or, Javi wasn't born into the sort of world that welcomed him with open arms, he turns to storms to survive.)

Michael is happy to have a reason worth living for.And Elizabeth, Evan, Henry, Clara, and Charlie are happy to watch the chance they gave Michael at living from above.
