With his left hand, he unlocks and opens the door.
Travis Phelps, bloody, nineteen years old and sobbing, darts into the basement and doesn’t stop till halfway down the stairs, where he collapses to the floor, gripping the rail like it’ll save him.

Felix hangs up and looks over at the whimpering mess in the corner, huddled in a dusty abandoned house Felix decided to hide in for the night.
