Summary
Aether is a new student at Liyue Academy, and his new friend, Hu Tao, seems incredibly invested in the school's seven mysteries - seven terrifying occurrences that are said to take place in the school every night, with no explanation other than the supernatural.
Not many people come to a new school to look for ghosts. Aether is certainly not one of them. But when you make friends with Hu Tao, Xiangling, Chongyun and Xingqiu, getting involved in the business of the dead is inevitable, apparently.
And when Aether is inexplicably drawn to the Academy's mysterious guardian spirit, he doesn't regret it one bit.

Sethos just moved to Sumeru City, and he’s fine. He’s doing great. He’s moving past the worst few days of his life and definitely not barely ignoring a crushing feeling of ennui that lives in his soul where there used to be a piece of a god.
Then a beautiful and mysterious man crashes into him. He’s rude, barely over five feet, and dressed like an Inazuman nobleman. No one in Sumeru City has anything good to say about him. Sethos can’t figure out how old he is, where he’s from, or get him to stay on the ground long enough to start a conversation. And no matter how hard he tries, he cannot stop thinking about this “Hat Guy”.
Sethos needs answers. Maybe he gets a little obsessive.

He knows, but is drawn evermore into those piercing green eyes, and sly smile, and the way he holds everyone at arm’s length while keeping them close as can be. He's interesting, he’s impressive, and Wanderer wants nothing to do with him while knowing everything about him. He hates it. He hates even more that he is going against his better judgment when he falls for him.
