Something stirs inside of him, cold like the press of a blade to an unsuspecting throat. Like passing under the shadow of a bridge over running water. Like the latch of a wrought-iron gate in the dark. He chokes back a sound, wet and pitiful, and is glad for the miraculous soundproofing of their jail for the first time.
“Pull it together, Kim.” He mumbles under his breath, shifting to press his back to the wall closest to Mingi and wiping at his cheek furiously. Searching himself for the heat of his own rage, he comes up empty. “There’s no time for this.”
Except that there’s nothing but time and that’s half the problem anyway.
The Black Pirates are being held by Guardians and Hongjoong is left alone with his thoughts.

Summary
It is a year after Mingi and his found family have settled into a new sense of normal, and The Nocturne has fallen into a comforting peace. All is well except for one teeny tiny thing, Yunho.
Yunho is still descending into madness as his mind begins to crack and memories begin seep into his waking consciousness of the person he used to be and the trauma of change. There isn't a whole lot Mingi can do for his forgotten soul mate until, he has no choice but to face a man from his past he never hoped to see again.
Can Mingi and his members save Yunho from himself? And why are we in the 19th century? Can the revival of his memories cross his stars to Yunho once more? Or is their story nothing but a tragedy in history books.
