    Shuichi knew it was going to be a difficult seven months. Kaito had been training so hard for this moment. It was his dream to go to space, and Shuichi didn't want to ruin it just because he'd miss his boyfriend. He kept telling himself he was prepared for this. He was prepared to say goodbye. But it wasn't until he and Kaito got to the space station that he realized how wrong he was. Shuichi wasn't ready. He didn't want to say goodbye. He didn't want to wake up every morning for seven months without the love of his life sleeping soundly next to him. Why did astronauts have to stay in outer space for so long? Why couldn't they just spend the weekend up there, and be back by Monday?

    Suddenly Kaito pulled him into one of his famous bear hugs. Shuichi wasted no time in hugging him back. He clung to his lover tightly. This would be the last hug he’d have from Kaito for several months after all. It took all the strength Shuichi had to not shed any tears, knowing Kaito wouldn’t want to see him cry right before he went to space.

    Shuichi tries his best not to worry about Kaito while he's in space, but he misses his boyfriend.
