Summary
It is a fact well known among the Lan that Jin Guangshan was a horrible person. A decent sect leader, perhaps, but a horrible person. Lan Qiren was of the opinion that Jin Guangshan was both a horrible person and a horrible sect leader, but he lacked evidence to support stating it openly.
Until a night hunt on Jin territory which revealed shockingly lax night hunt protocols which resulted in one of his juniors being severely injured. Getting Lan Guo treated led Lan Qiren to an unexpected doctor in an inappropriate place, but that was fine. The Lan Elders would simply have to cope with Lan Qiren marrying two brilliant and beautiful prostitutes and adopting Jin Guangshan’s bastard son as his own heir.
