Summary
Told from Helaena’s point of view, this canon divergence fic follows an aged-up Helaena and Aegon during their first year of marriage. The story details Aegon’s recovery from alcoholism with his wife by his side and the lead-up to - and the birth of - Jaehaerys and Jaehaera. We also see some of the effects of Aemond’s complicated feelings towards his siblings at play. Featuring; a version of Helaena with more agency than she has in the show and a more book-accurate Aegon with no rape or infidelity storylines.
