Summary
Wooyoung has been living with his new family for over a year now and while a lot of things have steadily improved for him, he still has demons to battle—both in his head as well as the real world. This time, however, he is not alone.
Or: the sequel to 'Like Sun to the Darkest Days' in which Wooyoung gets confronted with his past in more than one way.
Just like the first part, this story deals with really heavy topics, please heed the tags. We're in for an angsty ride!

Summary
Wooyoung is good at pretending that everything is fine and, in all honesty, most of the time everything is fine. He's got a tight-knit friend group and he's free to do the things he loves. Sure, he's mute and there's a whole bunch of unresolved childhood trauma but everyone's got their baggage.
Or: San introduces two lovable giants to their friend group and that's really only the beginning of it
Or: Wooyoung's past makes an unwanted comeback that him and Yeosang have to deal with on their own... Unless they let their friends in and accept their help

Summary
Louis is content with his life. Sure, he has a thesis to write and money isn't really flowing, but overall he really can't complain. Through Zayn, one of his best friends, he meets Harry and is instantly intrigued. The younger boy seems closed off, trying desperately to keep it together and Louis vows that he'll do whatever is in his power to help him.
This story probably won't have a main pairing. POVs might change. Trigger warnings for some chapters. I like Angst. A lot.

Summary
“What helped?”
Beside him, Mingi shrugs. “A bunch of things, I think. Time was the biggest thing. Time and quiet and my mom. She always knew when to talk or when to just sit. Talking to Yunho.” He turns his head to look at Wooyoung. “FaceTiming with you helped. I don’t think I ever told you, but it did.”
Wooyoung’s smile is slow and a little shy. “I thought I was bothering you.”
“I looked forward to those notifications just as much as Yunho’s phone calls. I never knew where you’d be, you know? In the practice room or eating with the members or at a schedule or in the park on the swings— and it got to the point where I realized I was excited to find out where you’d be next. The constant change of it didn’t freak me out like it had. You gave me a way to distance myself and not miss out entirely.” He sighs, looking back up at the sky. “I was so homesick for you all.”
Wooyoung stares up at the stars and breathes slowly and evenly until the urge to cry recedes. He can’t think of a single thing to say.
Between where they lay side by side, Mingi hooks his pinky around Wooyoung’s. “If you need a motive, you can have that one. I’m looking out for you because you did it first.”

Summary
Since San left he’s encountered many hitchhikers, people of all kinds requesting a ride with the lift of their thumbs. Every time he’s driven past with a heavy heart but a resolved mind, recalling the articles he’s read about the dangers of picking up strangers off the side of the road.
That along with his own common sense has made it hard, and not without guilt, but doable for him to drive past their silent pleas. He’s always sure they’re nice people, but he’s also always sure someone else will come along to help.
But this stranger is different from the others, and San’s foot hesitates over the gas pedal.

Summary
"What did Hongjoong want?" Seonghwa asks, so gently concerned.
"What?" Wooyoung blinks, taken aback. "He wasn't telling me off," he says, blank. Did Seonghwa really actually think he was in trouble for something? "He just wanted to hang out. Cuddle before bed, and shit," he shrugs.
Seonghwa huffs a nearly-silent sigh and almost rolls his eyes. "Don't know why I bother."
the Cassandra Complex relates to a person whose truths are disbelieved; named for Cassandra of Troy, cursed by the god Apollo to have all her prophecies ridiculed.

Summary
“And…cut! Alright, that’s a wrap. Good job everyone.”
The second the on-air sign is turned off, Wooyoung pulls at the knot of his tie to loosen it. Jongho, his friend and personal assistant is instantly at his side with his usual notebook in hand, handing Wooyoung a glass of water – he could kiss him for that alone. Everyone has been on edge this morning, but Wooyoung himself is probably the cause for that: he’s made the rash decision to dye his hair bright red the previous night, without telling anyone, of course.
