Took up residence and has been tirelessly studying at the university of Ketterdam. In the middle of his Junior year, and still fresh from a breakup, Mal is trying to find his footing. He’s still seeing Alina, his ex-girlfriend, everywhere.
It isn’t until he’s forced into a group project with Aleksander (Alina’s new and much hotter boyfriend, at least according to Mal’s infuriating roommate Jesper) and Nikolai (A man with a sly smile and an insane tolerance for alcohol). Mal decides the only thing he can do is fill every waking minute up with something (A Journal From Home), someone (Nikolai), anything (The way the Library's new clerk quirks up at the sound of his roommate's name). He doesn’t even realize how close Nikolai has gotten… until he does and he’s worried he won’t survive losing someone again.
