Brahms 3rd symphony, 3rd mvt plays from a distance
Allen followed the music, curiosity piqued. He reached the source of it and peeked into the room. Lucien was in the centre leaning back in a chair, eyes closed, mind wandering around in a world beyond comprehension. A cigarette adorned his hand and when he heard footsteps, he opened his eyes. Allen was greeted by a set of stormy eyes, boring into him. His heart did a flip in spite of himself.
‘Brahms?’
‘Ah, finally. An oasis in this wasteland.’

It was written for the prompt:#48: Brooklyn Baby AU: Louis and Harry are both early 70s bohemians who live in Brooklyn, New York. Louis is a sweet and gentle beatnik who wears flamboyant clothes and reads his poetry at underground speakeasies. Harry sings and plays in a punk rock Sex Pistols-esque band, wears leather and hates authority figures. The two are hopelessly in love with each other. (Bottom Louis only please<3)
