Smiley, bubbly, cheerful Lottie Lasso was thrilled when she got a job alongside her father, Ted, at the Premier League AFC Richmond across the ocean. As the new medical assistant to the team and her father as the new manager, they would navigate the ups and downs of football - the world's "soccer," which would take some time getting used to saying.
Then Lottie met Roy Kent, foul-mouthed, growly, and always glaring. The exact opposite of her disposition, and oh so intriguing... and also a grade-A "trash bag."
And somehow, she found herself falling head over heels for the brooding footballer.

When Ted Lasso’s father dies, his mother decides it would be best for them to get a new start somewhere else.
So, Ted finds himself uprooted and placed at a new school in a country new to him where the people speak English, but it might as well be gibberish because Ted doesn’t understand any of it. He finds himself having to accustom to wearing a uniform and fitting in.
Roy Kent is the lead footballer and one of the most popular kids as Richmond Secondary School. He had his whole career lined up, a loving girlfriend, and just about everything he’s dreamed of.
Until the new kid Ted Lasso blows it all to shit. Now, Roy must figure his way around the new kid that won’t leave him alone and basically threatens his spot on the team while juggling his classes. Roy doesn’t understand Lasso’s motive. Is he trying to irritate him on purpose? And why does he have to be so fucking charming?
Will Roy get past Ted antics? Or will he fall for him like everyone else seems to be doing.

“That can be fixed,” Isaac says easily. His arm is still on Michael’s, so instead of letting go, he drops his grip to hold Michael’s hand and digs a Sharpie out of his pocket. “Here’s my number, gimme a ring and I’ll explain the offside rule again. Can’t believe Colin hasn’t converted you already.”

But Ted hadn’t listened the first time, and he definitely hadn’t listened this time. No one had listened.
