Summary
It has been twenty years since Pippo had been saved by the famed Assassin, Ezio Auditore, and his dreams of joining the Assassins have never quite left his head. Now the assistant to his brother, Salvestro, Pippo had tried to live an ordinary life in Renaissance Venice, though it quickly turns for the worst when his family is murdered by Templar agents. Swearing revenge, he goes to Rome to train with his long-lasting idol and become the Assassin he knew he was always meant to be, leaving his remaining family, and the love of his life, Cione Prestatore, back in his home town.
Now that he has gotten everything he had dreamed of since he was young, Pippo must learn what it truly means to be an Assassin as well as track down those responsible for his family's deaths. He learns quickly that it isn't all what he imagined it to be, though he does know for certain that his loyalty could never waver.
While this is technically a sequel to A Wooden Doll Conspiracy, you do not have to read it to understand this story.
