Faint noises of cleaner bots and a gentle robotic hum echo through the pristine white corridors that connect to the chamber. The bots glide effortlessly across the floors, ensuring every inch of the chamber remains clean and sterile.
A message pops in a screen panel in the cockpit.
"Distress signal from Home Base, 50 light years away. Date of transmission-147 years ago. Origin-Kepler 1649c. Relaying Transmission..." A robotic female voice announces in the empty room.
A buzz of white noise starts going off from the message.
Crackles of voices desperately pleading and a woman urging for a rescue mission cut through before it fades into the white noise.
The white noise stops abruptly before the automated voice speaks in the room lit by buttons and screens beeping on the control panel.
"End of Transmission."
The dark vacuum that dwells beyond the walls remains unbothered. The thrusters continue to consume fuel, and within the monotonous state of the automated environment, the hum of machinery echoes through the sterile corridors.
