“I’m gonna kill that guy,” Yoongi mutters darkly, eyes grey-ringed and sleep-swollen.
“Sure you are,” Seokjin says mildly as he casts his line.
It’s five thirty in the morning, the three days between Yoongi stumbling over his intruder and now having passed in a blur of anxiety-turned-rage. Yoongi had somehow made it out of bed before Seokjin arrived, already two coffees in and riding the adrenaline rush that comes with boiling irritation. Seokjin, ever the Yoongi-wizard, popped a bucket hat over his head, gave him a thermos full of more coffee, and swept him out into the ocean without a single question, because he knows Yoongi doesn’t want to talk about it.

“I’m gonna stick my fishing hook in his toe,” Yoongi remarks, completely unbidden, because for some reason, he does want to talk about it.

“What?” Jimin asks, stopping the video, closing his laptop. He’s clearly not getting any more work done tonight since Jungkook’s practically boring a hole into his skull with his eyes.
“What?” Jungkook mocks him. “I don’t know what you mean.” He scowls, leaning over to rescue his laptop. “If you’re going to be this willfully ignorant, I’m not going to help you.”
“Ignorant about what?” Jimin doesn’t throw up his hands but it’s close.
Jungkook rolls his eyes. “It’s sooo obvious.” He closes his laptop and sets it on the only clear part of the coffee table. The rest is a mess of textbooks, notebooks, haphazard piles of notes; the result of all three of them gearing up for midterms.
“What?” Jimin’s stomach lurches, his heart rate kicking up. Is Jungkook saying what he thinks he’s saying? “What’s obvious?”
Jungkook turns back to him, rolling his eyes harder. But he doesn’t reply, like it’s too obvious to even say out loud.
“What?” Jimin’s starting to feel like a broken record. “Did he say anything to you?” -

Jungkook isn’t sure why, but this sends Jimin into a bigger laughing fit than the last. His entire body flails and fully hunches over, successfully falling off the chair. In reaction to seeing that, Taehyung also laughs, even harder when he notices Jungkook’s shocked and slightly concerned expression.
“What the fuck?” Jungkook asks, glancing both at the laptop and the friend next to him. “What? What did I say?”
