John Deacon is known for being invisible, and most of the time, that's a good thing, as working behind the scenes means that you have to disappear and let your work shine through the displays, but sometimes it can be a bit lonely. -

Run away saying ‘actually I didn’t mean it but thanks so much anyway’ and shut himself in his bedroom and never come out again. Except for when he had to see Izzy at work the next day. Well, that was going to be fucking awkward either way! Shit, he really hadn’t thought this through…

If Nick was friends with Harry, then he was almost certainly an entitled cockwaffle. Charlie felt his momentary surge of attraction fade. This boy was clearly going to be trouble.
Strike One: Late.
Charlie caught Imogen smiling encouragingly at Nick. The freckled young man flushed slightly, and gave her a grateful smile back.
Strike Two: Straight.
“You’re just in time, Nick,” Nathan said warmly. “Now that we are all met, welcome everyone…”
Charlie turned to give their acclaimed director his full attention, but could not help but continue to observe Nick out of the corner of his eye. He was shrugging off his Carhartt jacket and placing it over the back of his chair, revealing the distinctive jersey underneath.
Charlie’s jaw clenched.
Strike Three: Rugby Lad.
That settled it.
Outside of whatever might be necessary for the good of the production, Charlie wanted absolutely nothing to do with Nick Fucking Nelson.
