“Excuse me?” That was the only sentence he was able to form in the moment. The pure shock and disbelieve on the white haired man’s face and voice due to the situation was so noticeable, that even Master Kagaya detected it.
Kagaya looked at the Hashira has he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. “Do you have any problem or doubt about the mission? You seem worried.” The man asked in his usual sweet tone. Deep down, he knew why the Hashira reacted like that, but he wanted to hear those words from the man himself.
Or in other words,
Master Kagaya is tired due to Tomioka and Shinazugawa's troublesome relationship and decides to do something about it.
