En español, la palabra que utilizamos para definir aquella disciplina que “estudia los hechos sucedidos en el pasado”, y la que usamos para referirnos a un “relato que nos narra un acontecimiento maravilloso”, es exactamente la misma. Historia.
Es curioso porque para seres como nosotros, nuestra historia de vida inevitablemente se convertirá en esa otra clase de historia que está sujeta al estudio de los seres humanos. Esos tipos… Tan problemáticos como interesantes, ¡igual que nosotros!
¡En fin! Me presento, soy México, para servirle a usted y a Dios, y en esta historia quiero contarte mi vida de mierda.
Si, de mierda. Porque ¿te has molestado siquiera en abrir alguna vez un libro de historia mexicana? Siempre hay un desvergue ahí, y si te pusieras a pensar que hay una persona que ha tenido que verse obligada a ser partícipe de todos esos conflictos, ¿no te daría lastima?

This is a series of stories that is meant to be read in conjunction with Legacy, which is my story about Mexico's life. These were originally written for prompts or short oneshots on my Tumblr.
They cover a variety of characters and time periods outside of the story of Legacy, but in the same universe as it were. In effect, these stories allowed me to write about more than just the Mexican War for Independence while using the same OCs and the same relationships.
Treat these an expansion for Legacy. It is divided by character, and each story is labeled with the period in which they take place. The characters are in alphabetical order, the stories are roughly chronological.
